The Clothing Bank initiative is a programme spearheaded by DoSA to provide assistance to students facing clothing insecurity. It involves the collection of clothes obtained through solicitations from various organizations to replenish the clothing banks.

Procedure to qualify for clothing bank are as follows:

Counselor/Tutor Consultation:

To initiate the process, a student in need is required to schedule a meeting with a counselor or tutor. During this consultation, the student’s circumstances are assessed.

Official Request to DoSA:

Following the assessment, if the student is identified as in need, an official request is submitted to the Directorate of Student Affairs (DoSA). This request includes relevant details about the student’s situation and the nature of assistance required.

DoSA conducts an assessment based on the official request. This evaluation considers the availability of clothing in the banks and the urgency of the student’s need.
