Brief Description
The KNUST Energy and Sustainability Society is a student-led platform focused on promoting awareness, innovation, and practical solutions in energy and sustainability.
The society brings together students from diverse disciplines to explore renewable energy, energy efficiency, climate action, and sustainable development. Through projects, research, and partnerships, members gain hands-on experience and contribute to solving real-world energy challenges in Ghana and beyond.
Vision
To be a leading student-driven hub for energy innovation and sustainability in Africa.
Mission
To equip students with knowledge, skills, and opportunities to drive sustainable energy solutions through education, research, and collaboration.
Objectives
- Promote awareness of sustainable energy and environmental issues
- Build capacity in renewable energy and energy efficiency
- Encourage research and innovation among students
- Facilitate partnerships with industry and institutions
- Support community-based sustainability initiatives
